Houses
A play written by Reid Ivanoff
Produced by Reid Ivanoff in the Tank Theater
Houses is a play about art, apology, acceptance, and anorexia, told through the lens of a troubled brotherhood. Douglas, the younger brother, is an overwrought muralist who's locked himself away and dedicated himself to a painting since the loss of his parents. No matter what he does, his work never turns out exactly right. His older brother Thomas, after little warning, flies to New York City for the first time in his life. He intends to re-establish contact with Douglas and bring him home.
